At Fresh Take Farm we use 100% natural methods only. All of our materials used in production are in accordance with USDA Organic standards. We DO NOT use chemical fertilizers or synthetic chemicals of any kind. We use all organic seeds for field production and cover crops. Many of our growing practices and methods are focused on improving and maintaining soil health.
Our field is a beautiful 14-acre plot on the Mettowee River in Granville. Fresh Take Farm uses a wide variety of preparation, planting, and cultivation techniques to build up soil fertility, ensure plant health, and control weed pressure for better crops. We are Certified Naturally Grown (“a grassroots alternative to Certified Organic, based on the standards of the National Organic Program”).
