About: Napa Cabbage and its close cousin Bok Choy are part of the brassica family and are both known as Chinese Cabbage, though the flavor of Napa Cabbage is more delicate than Bok Choy. Napa Cabbage originated in China and is frequently used in Asian cooking. It is the primary ingredient in Kimchi, a spicy, Korean side dish similar to coleslaw.
Nutritional Information: Napa Cabbage is considered a a very good source of Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Folate, Iron, Copper and Manganese.
Storage: Napa Cabbage can be stored in the refrigerator for a couple weeks. You do not need to put it in a plastic bag. Just remove outer leaves before using. Remove center core when preparing.
