It is an unconventional way to try to fund a new company. But, we think we have a darn good chance.
Inutit has a contest for an Intuit Hiring Grant of $25,000 or $50,000 that will be awarded to a small, local business that "best embodies the characteristics of a small business that is loved by its customers, vendors, employees, and/or local community". Since everything we are and do is about being local, we think we should win for Pete's sake. The more votes we get the more chances we have to win.
