chris alex kemnahOtter Hook Farms is a small family farm located in the town of Greenville in Greene County. Their passion for clean, nutritious and delicious food is what led these University of Albany graduates into farming, The use Nutrient Dense and organic farming techniques to improve their soils and grow the most nutritious and best tasting food available.  If you are lucky enough to try one the vegetables they grow in their nutrient dense soil you will know it.  They offer a CSA and chickens and eggs at the farm.

How We Work With Our Farmers

We work with our farmers and other suppliers through our Supplier Cooperative Program.  This is a transparent program where we work with our farmers as a group to develop our product selection and specifications (quality, farming methods, size/weight).  Field Goods makes a down payment on product we order for our subscribers and guarantees to purchase the contracted amount.  In case of crop failure, farmers can substitute other products. Our goal is to pay a fair price for high-quality product, which means we expect to pay more than wholesale.  We can do this because of your commitment through subscriptions and the diversity of products we offer.  This reduces over-production and waste.
