How Field Goods Works:  Delivery, Dollars and Good Sense

Field Goods delivers (with delight) fresh and frozen local food to your Field Goods Site.  Our products include fresh produce subscriptions and fresh & frozen products from our online store.

When you click on Sign Up or Shop the Store for the first time you will be directed to our partner Farmigo's website where you will be instructed to follow 4 easy steps:

Step 1:   Select a Pick-up Site (we call them Field Goods Site)

Step 2:  Choose a Share (we call them Subscriptions) or Product

Step 3:  Provide Contact Information

Step 4.  Make a Payment

Step 1: Select A Field Goods Site

A Field Goods Site is a location (such as an office building, community center) where you can pick-up your subscription and store orders.  Field Goods Sites are generally open for pick-up for 1 to 3 hours.  Click here to see the list of Field Goods Sites, delivery days and hours.  You must choose a Field Goods Site before you order.  If the location, days or hours just do not work for you, please contact us and we will do our best to get a Field Goods Site set-up that does.  We do not offer individual home deliveries.

When you arrive at the Field Goods Site we will have the product displayed for you to pick.  We do not pre-box.  Bring a bag to place your products in, preferably one that will keep the food cold. Please review our policies to learn what to do about cancellation, vacations, refunds and the rest.

Step 2: Choose Your Products

Order Fresh Produce SubscriptionsDid you know?

Our fresh produce subscriptions are delivered weekly.  For example, our Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Subscription is delivered for 22 weeks beginning the first week of June and ending the last week of October.  Our subscription products are designed for families and individuals/couples.  You can choose to receive just vegetables or include fruit and herbs. Produce subscriptions cost $20 to 30 per week.

Our produce is harvested by small farmers a day or so before delivery, and sometimes that very morning, so you are guaranteed the freshest, best tasting produce available. Ordering a subscription product helps you make a commitment to your health and sustainable local farming.

We will begin to take subscription orders March 1. Our first delivery will be early June. We have a limited number of subscriptions available so order soon.

Shop Our Online Store

Starting June 1, we offer Hudson Valley small farm products in our store including:

  • Fresh & Frozen fruit and vegetables
  • Frozen beef, pork and poultry
  • Locally produced grocery products.

Our store offerings will change often.  We offer hard-to-find products, products with a very short season and shelf-life (such as zucchini flowers) and great deals on bulk orders.  We will let you know what is available when it comes in.  You will need to order a few days in advance of deliver.

Step 3: Contact Information

Once you have set up an account, you can shop directly through My Account where you can also manage your contact information, products and payments. You will also see we have space for an additional contact.  This can be additional contact information for yourself or for anyone else you choose.  If someone other than the primary contact is picking up your delivery, this can be helpful.

Step 4:  Make a Payment and Agree to Policies

We offer two payment options for subscriptions - upfront or monthly.  You can pay using an electronic check using your bank account number or by credit card.  Please review our policies.
